How can a Growth Mindset lead to better wellbeing?
Learn the difference between Growth and Fixed Mindsets
Do you find yourself falling into old ‘fixed’ patterns of thinking which inhibit or limit you or create a sense of anxiety or low mood? This week’s video gives you three key insights into the benefits of adopting a ‘growth mindset’ and challenging your tendency to get stuck in ‘fixed’ thinking. Chances are, if you find yourself saying things like, 'I'm just a born worrier,' or 'I don't have brain for languages.' or any number of variations of these statements, then you are stuck with 'fixed' thinking about that matter. In this week's video, I encourage you to identify your own potential fixed thinking and provide you with encouragement. You can shift or change those unhelpful thinking patterns. it takes work and practice, but you really can.
