There is more to life than stress. This is something so important to remember, it's what's fuelled and motivated me to deliver the work I do and do these videos. It can at times feel like stress is the only thing that is bearing down on us, that it's the only thing in life but do you know what?
It's not. I spent a lot of years churning in the turmoil of anxiety feeling stressed out at the smallest of things and battling my way out of that and it's still at times a tough thing to remind myself.
That's why it's The Stressed Guru, that's why I call myself The Stressed Guru because I'm far from perfect but what I have realised is that there is more to life than stress.
There are different ways of looking at your life. There are ways of appreciating what you do have that's great and appreciating that you don't have certain things that are bad. There is a whole raft of tools, tactics and practises and reasons to justify the effort to work on your mindset so that you can lighten the load. It is worth it.
